Separation
This series of paintings, titled "Separation", is a visual exploration of the complex and often painful process of parental separation. Through the use of simple, dynamic but whimsical curves in red or black on a blank canvas, these paintings capture the emotive feelings of the experience.
The smaller paintings feature the faces of children, while two larger paintings depict each parent. Together, these pieces form a powerful visual narrative that speaks to the often difficult journey of separation.
